This is our favorite dry fly pattern! It was developed by Hans van Klinken - originally tied as a  caddis offering but it can represent baetis and larger midges as well. It's designed to drift with the abdomen below the surface film, representing an emerging bug at it's most vulnerable stage - be sure to put floatant only on the hackle and thorax and not on the abdomen. The cerise colored wing post makes it easier to spot, especially if you are drifting it along the edge of a current seam.
