Tied on a Gamakatsu barbless midge hook. Every trout stream in America has a steady supply of midges year round that are important to the fish’s diet.  When hatches are small the fish will key on micro patterns. Fish with light fluorocarbon tippet and set the hook gently. The trout’s resistance will strengthen the hookset.
Guide hints:
Use your forceps (clamps) on the hook bend for easy handling while tying the Micro patterns to your tippet. We highly recommend using the Davy Knot on the Micro patterns for a small profile. (See our video)
