Originated by the Spanish competitive fly fishing team and prefected by the French, these slim bodied, UV resin coated patterns are designed to get down fast to the bottom where trout hold in faster currents. The resin creates a great translucent and durable body (they look way better than the pictures show!). These make a great point fly for the various tight line fishing techniques, eliminating the need for split shot, and thus keeping in contact with your flies. You can then rig whatever other pattern you want on a tag above.
