Buggy looking soft haclkles have been fooling trout for hundreds of years, and continue to do so today because they work! The hackle provides great movement in the water and iumitatea variety of nymphs. These patterns will also draw stikes as you lift to recast - simulating an emerging bug. The UV resin coating gives these a great translucent appearance - the pictures don't do them justice! They may be bigger than the bugs present but they represent a lot of protein - take my word - they get bit.
